Below a willow in the shade

From atop, atop the highest mountain

Ivory towering over me
Too high to climb, too far out of reach
All of me in full pursuit
But my eyes fully blind, my mouth fully mute

Now our bodies lay side by side
And our lungs take in the breath of life
Etch your image deep into my skull

For the first time my eyes can see and every day since then you haunt me
